Hawkesbury is a golf course my son was very fond of because it was the first event he played after returning from Florida. Yes, my husband and son would drive home from Florida in 25 hours over a few days, then arrive home for a week and head to Quebec, a 9-hour drive. Hawkesbury is a beautiful Golf Course, and while on the Quebec Tour, it was actually in Ontario but right along the border of Quebec. In fact, most years, the guys had to stay in Quebec because Hawkesbury was a small community without hotels, and they usually got an Airbnb just over the border.
